in Holidays

We do things different in the country.  If our true love sent us presents for 12 days of Christmas, we wouldn't have any namby-pamby stuff like 12 Lords a leaping or 3 French hens.  No sir.  Here's how WE'd do it:

On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me. . .
Christmas African Gray Parrot

A Parrot in our pantry!
.

On the second day of Christmas my true love gave to me. . .Christmas Llamas

Two Loving Llamas!

and a Parrot in our pantry.

On the third day of Christmas, my true love gave to me. . .

3 Christmasy Shetland Sheep Ewes

Three frosty sheep!

And THAT's how we'd do presents for the 12 days of Christmas, country style.

OH MY!!!! How creative. After the parrot in the pantry I was tempted to go to the end and see how it all came about…but I went day by day. Good going. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, *very* cute! Love all the detail you put in…I laughed out loud at the sheep with the bell (holiday ball?) earrings.
Now, how did you get all your critters to wear the festive attire? :-)
I had one heck of a time convincing mine…. lol

How wonderful!!! I especially like the “birds a callin’” How on earth did you find tiny headsets to add perfectly to the picture? I don’t know how to add things to pictures yet.
Thanks for the fun!

Dani, you are very observant! Glad you liked the bell earrings on Valrhona. :-)

And Ceecee, you are pretty observant too. I wondered if anyone would see the tiny headsets on the chickens! I took a regular sized headset, and re-sized it in Photoshop. These pictures took layers and layers to make! ;-)

Thanks for the kinds words, both of you. It’s nice to know all that work was enjoyed!
