Exactamundo! Almost every time I go somewhere without my camera, there's this great photo op, and I MISS it, then I'm mad at myself for not thinking to have my camera. So I carry one almost everywhere, and yes, I do a LOT of deleting. I figure if there's one or two good ones each time, you've done well, and hooray for digital!!!

I'm trying NOT to laugh here, but gosh, it's so hard. I think it's ok to laugh, though, because she's ok. whew!

Something like this happened to my large Ameracauna hen, too. But she got her toe stuck under the coop gate. All the other chickens had already went into the coop for the night, but when I checked on them the last time, she was still there beside the gate.

I'm just glad that I decided to go out before I went upstairs to bed, because the poor thing would have been stuck there the entire cold, windy and icy night!

And I also wanted to say that there's no need to explain the photo taking opportunities.
I don't go anywhere now without my camera, either. Walking around my land, I always find something photo worthy and interesting.

I've learned the hard way that it stinks to have forgotten the camera when a special photo op appears.

I take hundreds of photos every day. Most get deleted.

Thank goodness for digital, eh?
