Last weekend The Farmer fixed the cracked pipe located in the wellhouse. It required a lot of climbing in and out of the wellhouse, so he gave his new knees a work-out.
Considering how he had to crawl in and out of there several times, I think he did amazingly well.
We discovered that the heater inside the wellhouse was broken. The light was on, so it was getting electricity, but the heating elements were evidently burned out. There is now a new heater in there, so hopefully there won't be any more problems this winter.
And of course, The Farmer got the broken piece of pipe replaced, so we have well water again! That makes it much easier to fill the water buckets so the animals have plenty to drink.
All's well that ends well!

It sounds as if The Farmer did a great job. Isn’t it nice to have running water without the flood?
