Another Batch Of Guinea Keets

September 29, 2009

in Farm Critters

When we got back from vacation, we noticed we had a bunch more guinea keets.

Guineas and their keets.

It’s impossible to count them. For one thing, they’re staying in tall grass right now. That means you can’t see half of them at any given time!

And for another thing, they may be little, but they can move FAST.  I’ve counted up to 20, but I think it will be a while before we see how many there really are!

They’re so cute! We had goslings around for a while, and I just could not photograph them. They came out fuzzy because of course they were fuzzy…

Well I count 15 in the picture, but I may be missing some.
Guineas are so funny looking. Their heads look like dinosaurs.

Sometimes it’s hard to get pictures of little fuzzy chicks. They don’t want to hold still, and yeah. . . they’re fuzzy! ;-)

I know, guineas look positively prehistoric when they’re adults. But they’re cute when they’re little keets!
