Fancy that, a best blog award! I got notice yesterday from Rosie of "Realising the Dream" fame that she's given me a blogger award. Well, how cool is that!?! I've been enjoying popping in and reading about her farm in Britain, and she returns the favor and pops in and reads about our farm in the southern U.S.

Front Porch Indiana - Blog about restoring their 100 year old farmhouse into a working homestead. She has SHETLAND SHEEP, which I am totally partial to!
Homemakers Tales- From a friend living in North Cornwall, United Kingdom, who loves fixing up her house. We both deal with chronic pain and fibromyalgia (can we say empathy!??).
In The Shadow of Juniper Hill - Just landing there and seeing her awesome photo header brightens my day!
Laughing Orca Ranch - Coming from New Mexico, with some great photos of the surrounding countryside, her farm and critters, and family! Her fun personality shines through!
My Little Bit of Heaven - Coming from Texas, lots of humor and some great pics. A pleasure to read.
Northern Michigan Experience - Gorgeous photographs from the northern United States.
Ramblings Around Texas - Here's another blog from, you guessed it, Texas! Lovely photos of the country around there.
Seasons Eatings Farm - This blog belongs to a dear friend in Maine, written with humor and style. Farming, Maine wildlife, adventures in the greenhouse!
Sugar Creek Stuff - Her crafts are works of art. Seriously. What she does with a sewing machine and fabric totally blows me away!
Viewing Nature with Eileen - A blog from Maryland with most excellent pictures!
Wrensong Farm - Another farm with SHETLAND SHEEP, so I have to drop in now and then and see what new pictures are there! Coming from Monroe, Washington, with some awesome scenery.
This list is shorter than the 15 asked for in the rules, but hey! I only have so much time to read blogs, and these are the ones I visit on a regular, or semi-regular basis. (Depending on how busy I am!) Though I did notice Rosie had already done a couple I read, so I decided to just use "new" blogs.

You know I love your blog too, but I saw Rosie had already given you the award at the same time she sent one my way. So congrats on your best blog award! You sure enough deserve it! Love those pics and critter stories.
What? Really? Did I miss this? Did I forget? I have had an awful lot going on lately…or maybe it’s just that I’m getting old…(the latter is more likely)
