These are definitely uptown bears, and were in fact standing by the shop doors, showing off what fashionable bears in Alaska are wearing this season.

Tsk, tsk, consumer-ism indeed! They did NOT eat the consumers to acquire their duds. Instead, they eat the garbage, and the grateful store owners hired them as models to show off their inventory.
