Sound like a menu item?
Well, we don't serve cat in salads around here, but we often do see a cat on a bed of leaves. Spot seems to find them a nice cushy resting place.
Near as I can tell, he has three passions (in no particular order here!):
- Hunting.
- Napping.
- Getting a human to pet him.
No, passion isn't a passion of his. . . he had a close encounter with a vet in his past. He does have a lament about that however:

Alas for poor Spot, who went to the vet,
He thought I said to get tutored.
But what he soon learned to his lasting regret
Was I really said to get neutered.

And yeah, I’d say most outside cats like those three things, although not all cats I’ve had were such good hunters as Spot is. I’m just grateful he keeps his catches for himself and doesn’t leave them around for me instead.
