Warm Weather Means Nasty Things

Yeah, everyone gets all excited about warm weather. Oh joy, oh thrills! Summer is coming!

But there is a dark side to the temperature getting warmer. Oh yes indeed. Just think about it. Now we get to deal with:

  • fleas
  • mosquitoes
  • ticks

Plus spiders too!

And then there is yet one more creepy-crawly we have to deal with when it warms up.  The Farmer just went out the door, and when he opened the door, do you see what I saw?

Snake on a Car

We’re not famous enough to do “Snakes on a Plane” around here, or maybe that’s “infamous” depending on which review you read of that movie.  At any rate, our story starts with me and The Farmer going out of the driveway, and as we drive past the old Saturn, he says:

“Who put that toy snake on the car?”

Marsupial Madness

Or… here we go again!  It’s another predator at the party.

During the dark night, another creature wandered into The Farmer’s trap.  When I went out to check, this particular possum wasn’t playing dead… she was just fast asleep.  That didn’t last long however.  Our farm collie, Toby, was sniffing around the cage, and that got her attention in a hurry!
