I saw the first daffodil blooms of the year here yesterday.
Another sign that spring is coming!
Bright yellow flowers poke up towards the sky
Bringing forth hope that springtime draws nigh.
Their grace and great beauty are all sure to please
As the cheery toned flowers bob round in the breeze.
We're living the country life and hobby farming in the southeastern U.S. We've got a variety of critters. There's ewe sheep, a female goat, chicken roosters, a pet llama, guinea hens, some peacocks, peahens and peachicks. We have a Maremma sheepdog, Farm Collie, and a bunch of farm chickens.
I love to take pictures so there are lots of images to go with the stories! Not just of the farm critters, but wildlife and nature shots too. Plus some pictures from far afield now and then, when we do a tad of traveling. So sit down and visit a spell!

Ahhhhhhh, spring…..preeeeetty!
this is getting me so excited for spring. Lovely flowers
What a beautiful poem to caption the first flowers of spring.
Wow!! Beautiful!
Bummer for me, though. We just got pounded by 10" of snow last night.
I sure wish old man winter would let loose his grip soon!
The weatherman at first predicted snow for us… then changed it to rain. We just don't get much snow here!
