This morning another one of the peahens was out. I thought at first there was just one, but turns out she has two peachicks.
That brings the total babies out there to four. However, getting a picture of all four together proved to be somewhat of a challenge.
I don't like to get too close, because the hens are very protective and get upset. So here's the best I could do at getting all 4 chicks in one picture.
There's still one hen sitting on a nest, so maybe we'll get one or two more!

I see all four.
How soon do you know if they are hens or cocks? What characteristics do you look for?
It takes up to 6 months to be really sure which is which. The easiest way is to watch the color on the neck feathers. As they get older and they turn colors, the girls have green feathers, and the boys have blue.
You can tell at three months the males will have barring on their back and the females will be solid colored

I’ll have to remember to watch for that and see if I get it right on what’s what! Thanks for the tip.
