It’s snowing!

in Signs of Winter

It started snowing here a while ago, and it's coming down pretty FAST for our part of the world!

This poor cardinal is braving the snow to wait his turn at the feeders.

And there's snow on the ground around the pond...

But the snow doesn't keep the sheep from getting out!

And the chickens are standing around under the bird feeders hoping for a treat...

Chickens, hens and rooster, in the snow.

Even Toby likes to play out in the snow!

That's it for now!  If it keeps snowing like this, I might have to go out in the woods later and get some pictures!

Enjoy your weekend!

I like the look of snow. I even like the feel of snow. What I really, really hate is the temperature required for it to snow.
You pictures are lovely, though. Mr. Cardinal stands out beautifully with white as his backdrop. :)

Lovely pictures! Especially the cardinal and the sheep. They look like they enjoy the snow. I love the snow, too ……… though, as I age, only occasionally, not on a daily basis!
I’m in NC with my sister where the people of Greensboro are dealing with 8 inches of snow (basically they are in panic mode!) We dug out the condo where my mom lived, my sister’s house, and 2 neighbors’ homes. School is canceled for Monday because parking lots are still not plowed out; streets are still dicey, too.
Hope you’re enjoying the snow for now ………… Florida will seem like a dream.

Hey Ceecee, you’ve got a point there… it has to get too cold for my taste to snow! Fortunately, it usually doesn’t stay that cold for that long around here.

As you say Judith… snow ONLY on an occasional basis is good. ;-) Which is about all we get.

Now Canada, where the kids are, snow lasts FOREVER. I believe they will enjoy Florida quite a lot, ha, ha!
